Recently, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent five inspection teams to Harbin, Qiqihar, Mudanjiang, Jiamusi and other 12 cities and 22 counties (cities, districts) under the jurisdiction of the livestock ear tags management, the use of the work for inspection guidance.
According to the inspection situation, all places can carry out the management and use of livestock ear tags in an orderly manner in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state and our province. Management agencies at all levels have clarified the organizations and responsibilities and tasks of livestock ear tag management and are equipped with corresponding staff.
Through this inspection, all localities have been guided to strengthen the supervision of livestock ear marks in the region. It is required to strictly check the application of livestock ear tags in the origin quarantine and increase the investigation and punishment of illegal use of livestock ear tags. Acts of transferring, forging or altering animal ear tags, as well as acts of reusing animal ear tags, or using forged or altered animal ear tags, they will be punished in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Animal Husbandry Law of the People's Republic of China.
